WFA Political Term- Pinocchio Syndrome

Pinocchio Syndrome- originally a psychology term meaning, The gestures, postures, and facial expressions by which a person manifests various physical, mental, or emotional states and communicates nonverbally with others.

But redefined by Women For Action as a anyone in business or politics that are not acting on his or her own but under the will of others, especially those that have lobbied or financially backed them. In order words, someone else is "pulling the strings". They are more likely to tell lies under stress, fabricate stories in order to accomplish any sort of agenda.
