At times we stop within our busy everyday life and stand still long enough to listen to the birds chirping, to watch the clouds roll past the sun above us, to smell a flower or to observe the dew sitting on the blades of grass early in the morning. Usually we forget about these simple and humble gifts from life and instead we cram a gigantic preservative filled muffin into our pie whole while dumping hot coffee into the less available space at the corner of the mouth and run out the door for work or whatever else may keep our stress levels high and our appreciation low.
